There was a funeral wake held at the void deck of my block for the past three days prior to lunar new year and when I left this morning I had to take a reroute because the tents blocked the main exit. When I got back that evening the tents were still there and I took a longer way to navigate myself to the staircase. But when I got there I had a shock...the funeral wake that was previously there was replaced by a malay wedding! I was speechless for the second time that day. The first was when my friend gave me spongebob squarepants stickers as a gift in the morning (long story...maybe next time). So the malay wedding immediately occupy the same exact spot where the funeral was. Previously where there was a coffin, a platform where the bride and groom will be seated is erected. How morbidly interesting...first time for everything I guess.

Oh yeah, I wanted to entail this piece of entry with a descriptive piece on quenching thirst. However, I think its pretty saturated with the two days of a funeral and wedding post. Next time then. Bye.
